  15.      The _g_e_n_D_e_v_i_c_e_I_c_o_n_s program is used to create IRIX Interactive Desktop
  16.      device icons on the desktop background.  It is used in conjuction with
  17.      the _b_g_i_c_o_n_s program.  The _g_e_n_D_e_v_i_c_e_I_c_o_n_s program is run automatically
  18.      from the /_v_a_r/_X_1_1/_x_d_m/_X_s_e_s_s_i_o_n._d_t file when the user logs in, and is not
  19.      intended to be run directly by end users.

  22.      _g_e_n_D_e_v_i_c_e_I_c_o_n_s reads the _i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e to determine which devices to look
  23.      for.  If the device is present on the system, then serialized DNA for the
  24.      device is written to the standard output.  When used at login, the
  25.      _i_n_p_u_t_f_i_l_e is /_v_a_r/_X_1_1/_x_d_m/_D_e_f_a_u_l_t_D_e_v_i_c_e_L_i_s_t.
